Well, did the Helmsley TT road. What a shower of ****e! I was a good boy, especially with the missus on the back and stuck mostly to the speed limits. That road could only be made interesting by blatting down it at 90-100mph+! Bends aren't upto much, double whites everywhere and not much to speak of scenery wise. Oh and spotted an unmarked
car infront so was glad I was just bimbling along. Glad to report I didnt spot any scamera van though
Much preferred the twisties from York upto Helmsley and then the road south from Castleton I think it was, over the top of the moors. Wow, what a view!
