1972 Mini 1000, in Mustard / Gold colour, JYC 106K bought by my parents for my 18th birthday. It had oil pressure and tempurate guages in the dash, either side of the speedo rather than just the speedo on its own.

Passed my test nov 1987 drove around in my dad's mk4 cortina estate for a while, 'till i could afford my own... LDL866P mk2 escort popular plus in bright orange with a rip snorting 1100cc!
fond memories... me and my mates each putting a quid in. £5 petrol lasted all night, remember getting 7 producer's in one night (didn't look old enough to drive!) rolled it into a ditch just over a year later

Passed test in 2007, bought a V reg 1.2 corsa club for £1200, think the first years insurance was £2700 or something, put £300 worth of astra alloys and new tyres on it, £120 backbox and £250 worth of heated calibra leather seats and sold it a year later for £900. Good times

I had a 1979 1.3 Vauxhall Chevette saloon. It was the only car in the school car park to have rear wheel drive which meant obligatory doughnuts on the playing field. Playing field due to a lack of power to do them in the car park...

1.3 Fiesta - I think it was 1991 plate bought in 2003 just before I passed my test from a disabled guy who'd had it from new and only managed to accumulate 26,000miles on it.... It last 4days after I passed my test before I wrote it off... in reverse.
