I've serviced them and they're still binding to buggery, I'm thinking there might be something up but haven't the time available to make sure. Going to bring them as spares

Sure the pistons are OK?

Master cylinder knackered / sticking?

I'm suspecting the mastercylinder more and more, but the movement of the pistons in the calipers makes me suspect the calipers more.

Are the pistons scored or damaged?

Are the pistons moving freely, or one slower than the other etc?

If one is dragging its ar5e out, then there is a good chance it aint retracting freely either???

It's not retracting, this is the issue. Possibly not straight movement, worried they're a bit cocked/crooked.

a couple are rock solid to move.

I would suggest everyone packs a spare set of gloves cos riding in wet leather gloves is ****!
Balls! Just realised I left my spare gloves in with a load of stuff back oop north.

Gonna go for full textile kit in the hope that at least some of me will stay dry and compensate for the soggy hands

Dave you sure you have flipped any of the seals over when rebuilding?

Check the master cylinder over again and again, cos anything complex always points straight to that!

yep, they're built properly

Don't get me paranoid about the mastercylinder or I'll actually entertain the idea of a drive to durham for one!
