Advice on some used wets.
Picked this set up off ebay, they are a couple of years old and a bit torn.
I've only get them as a backup if a trackday turns wet. Would you want to run these? |

The one on the left's dodgy. Looks like its got a knee and some scruffy jeans attached ...

Re: Advice on some used wets.
Don't worry I removed then knee from the tyre and both are doing ok.
The front is fine but the right hand side of the rear feels a bit edgy. Both the tyres have little cracks in the inner corners of the tread but the rear also has the little nicks in it as well. |

Re: Advice on some used wets.
I would use them on a damp track but there doesn't look to be much depth left on the rear to cut through proper rain. I would only use them if I put them on rims myself for free, the rear doesn't look like its worth spending money on. Is the front still tacky feeling? Can you stick your fingernail in it? Cracking could be from not being stored right and drying out.
