Well, not for sale really... I'm just looking to be brought out of my contract.

Perfect for someone who wants an iPhone but doesn't want to enter into an 18 month / 2 year contract.

I have 9.5months left on the contract - £34 PCM (inc. VAT), 600 minutes, unlimited texts and (i think) 750MB data.

Phone is used but no significant scratches or damage. At the end of the contract the phones yours...

It's a fair point mate, but that includes the contract, and it might suit someone who doesn't want the long contract... (Although it might not).

Anyway the offers there and comes down £35 every months we get closer to September.

How does that work with the phone number? Wouldn't the number be tied to that contract?

Nah, won't be able to change the number on the contract now. Current provider prob won't do it.

What network are you on?

You may find that you aren't able to transfer the contract into someone else's name and therefore you will still be responsible for it. So you better hope and trust they stick to the contracts allowance.

Depending on who you are with, you may be able to downgrade the contract, if you can do that get it to a reasonable price (you may have to do it in stages), and buy yourself out then just sell the phone.

Or Infact just sell the phone on its own and put the sim in whatever phone you want and continue the contract.

That contract's worth about £13-16 a month without the phone (assuming it's from a main carrier).

The phone's worth about £200 assuming it's 16gb.

So it's potentially a saving of £40 (compared to someone not shopping around) if you happen to want that exact phone and contract right now with that carrier and don't care about the phone number.


It might be best to put both the storage space of the phone and the carrier in your first post though, signal coverage does vary.

If you want to get a new number on the contract, you could see if you transferred the number to a PAYG sim .
