Re: Dragging rear brake, Pointy.
I'm confused then. Earlier you said the brake pedal moved up and down with no resistance, however it wouldn't have been able to do so if the master cylinder is seized. Sometimes they get stuck in the "in" position because it isn't a particularly strong spring inside and when you bleed the brakes you sweep part of the cylinder not normally used, but it doesn't take much to blow it back down, besides that photo shows it in the extended position.

Dragging rear brake, Pointy.
Ok after a lot of swearing and heating up the cylinder I cannot get that plunger bit out!!! So I cannot rebuild it I've opted to replace it instead. Thanks all anyway.

Dragging rear brake, Pointy.
I've sorted the caliper but the cylinder is fudged - didn't know if you wanted it or were offering to fix it...

Re: Dragging rear brake, Pointy.
Bleeding the rear, i hear you say keep the caliper at the highest point during the process. Im sure ive asked this before. That means removing it from the wheel and say, put a wooden wedge in to stop it from fully closing. When ive finished the bleed wont it move slighty when i removed the wedge making it difficult to put it back on?
