Re: Under seat / high level two exhaust
Renegade did a one-off with under seats however did not market it:
I had twin hi level carbons on my curvy: I paid £660 for these cans and link pipes about 14 years ago, if you can find a set on eBay then good luck but as others have suggested you probably have more chance of having a **** in the Queen's handbag...

Re: Under seat / high level two exhaust
Half way through making a twin can set up on my curvy.
Managed to get a set of modified down pipes with a broken connector for £28 inc P&P from ebay ☺. Mate welded a new connector on for the price of a takeaway. Now fiddling with link pipe for the left side as it must've come from a track/race bike cos the side stand and pillion hanger is in the way, so a wee bit of modifying is in order. I might have a spare high level link pipe when I've finished (std side). |

Re: Under seat / high level two exhaust
Hey Adam. Something to remember. If you go for undeseat you would need to complete some heavy modifications to the rear seat unit. There isn't much room under there for the suspension to travel. You could also jack the rear end up to give you the clearance but this would speed the steering up considerably making it quite jittery. Under seats that I have seen over the years cut out the undertray completely and remove the rear light and use either another bikes unit or something customers welded to a hanger on the cans. It's a shot load of work and really as said I don't think aesthetically it looks good. I tried all this many years ago when I got Doris with the help of the late Renegade Exhausts. We came to the conclusion that it was the ugly pipework that didn't work
Still if this is something that you want to take on then go for it. Just be aware of the clearance issues. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk |

Re: Under seat / high level two exhaust
The only place I could find a high level link pipe was from blue flame exhausts when I ordered a full system, haven't been able to fit it yet but looks as if it's going to be nice and high up.They were a little slow on delivery date, but cut/ made their stock end can to 350 MM. instead of 400 MM.cant wait to get that chrome fire extinguisher size lump of metal off!!!
