K3 rear end swap - SV650.org

Hi guys, I'm back in the fold again after stupidly selling a well sorted curvy 6 months ago.
Anyway I've got my mits on a K3 but I may have to share it with the wife who's only 5 foot 2.

Rather than use dog bones to drop the backend by 40 odd mm and possibly ****-up all the suspension geometry, I'm looking at using a later sub frame.
After some reading I believe I'll only need the sub-frame, riders seat and small black under seat side panels. I'm not going to bother with the rear footrests as there will only ever 1 of us on it at any time. Is this correct ? Are all the other rear plastics the same on the K3 as the later models ?

IIRC the K3 is different on many things to every other K model. Not sure if the rear subframe is generic or K3 only

From what I understand and there are one or two posts on the forum about it. K3 subframe is unique to 03, so you need later subframe, front seat, side covers and I'm sure the undertray as the battery sits differently.

Sure someone will be along with more details.
