Mine didn't like being behind the rad either, I have the lower fairings so sculpted a bracket (Bent a random bit of scrap metal I found in the garage) so that it sits to the side of the rad. Works as it should now.
Obviously the fairing hides it's ugliness. Function over form. |

I got a mini Denali sound bomb for the Street Triple R but when restoring my CBR1000F I got a twin pack of snail horns from 2 Wheel Junkie for £7.50. Due to them being twin tone they sounded superb.

I rode mine until it got warm and the horn stopped working, then adjusted the screw until it worked again. Then allowed it to cool and checked it still worked. Once it was adjusted so it carried on working hot and cold it was all good.
