Rotor bobbins
Just a quick one, is there any service work or testing ( other than visual inspection ) that we are supposed to be doing to the bobbins in floating disc brake rotors?

Re: Rotor bobbins
I always make sure mine spin reasonably freely, if not then I use a bolt/nut/washer and a little WD40 to clean them out and get them moving reasonably freely.

Re: Rotor bobbins
Brake cleaner is good for blasting out the crap before doing what's suggested in the video, and doesn't leave a residue.

Re: Rotor bobbins
Mine have and will always be stuck solid. Until I replace the discs.
