From yesterday.
Otter lake on the Blue Ridge Parkway.  View from below dam.
Overlooking the river  Oh wait, I think I've just spotted that chance of precipitation.  Lunch stop for the day. Been a while since I've done this but the town where I had planned on eating was under a nasty black storm with terrible lightning so I picked up some cheese and crackers and a gatorade at a fuel stop and then stopped here on the mountain as soon as I got out of the rain.  Although I was never in the heavy rain, wet roads with and fog would be the scenery the rest of the way home. Does this qualify as an 'al fresco luncheon'?

Can't really explain that. Guess its been raining so much its cleaned the roads off. Usually 10 miles in the rain means a brown bike but only had a light film of dirt on it when I got home. But, if it makes you feel any better, I did have to wash it before putting it up.

A day at Folkestone with the MCC Young Cricketers. Always entertaining spending time in the company of more than a dozen 20-22 year olds. Going on to the team dinner was maybe a mistake as I got home at midnight, so tired as hell today.
