Default Is this where i think it is?

Is that the foot/bike/motorcycle path near Barmouth?

It was on the trailer for "walking Britains railways" on channel 5.

It is Barmouth. It's the railway bridge over Morfa Mawddach. The footpath side of it is part of the national cycle network and it's also open to motorcycles.

I think you've mentioned you've ridden across it before, Gary - I finally made it to Barmouth a couple of Sundays ago (lovely road down from Bala, isn't it) and wondered how the hell you were able to ride across it, as it looks far too narrow!

Slowly and carefully is the answer! You have to share the space with walkers and cyclists so patience and politeness are needed. A deal of care is also needed if you are coming across from the Fairbourne side as when you exit onto the road in Barmouth it is very steep, and difficult to pull out without toppling over, particularly if you are at all...er...vertically challenged!

Still can't believe it's actually legal think some of the pedestrians thought the same.

He he. I've been over there loads of times and while there are usually one or two who scowl at me, generally most people are ok with it. I always make sure to thank people for making space, or I stop and move aside to allow people through. That, along with a greeting and a thank you usually gets me a good response.
