Re: Bpw 2020
London theatres are cancelling/rescheduling shows from July and August, was supposed to be going to see Sister Act for the wifes 40th and got an email late Friday.
Speaking with work colleagues in Denmark they have gone a bit mad this first week of relaxing the measures and there are already calls to reintroduce strict measures. It's going to be interesting to see their figures in 2 weeks apparently not able to see green space in parks with people sunbathing and social distancing completely ignored. A lot is going to depend on the reactions when restrictions are relaxed but dont think we will be anywhere near normality anytime soon. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk |

Re: Bpw 2020
As long as people follow the guidelines given, which we have been doing (better than the Gov expected) everything should be fine. Regardless of what is done (without a proven vaccine) there will be a second wave of infections; what needs to happen is the vulnerable stay in isolation to protect themselves.

Re: Bpw 2020
I think mass gatherings will be banned for a long time. I include football matches and F1 etc in that. Shops need to ease first. Then maybe restaurants and cafes. It's all guesswork.

Re: Bpw 2020
Much as I'm very keen to see the BPW happen this year, my gut feeling is that it probably won't. I'd be (pleasantly) surprised if anything much gets moving properly again before September. However, if we can make it happen, we will.

Re: Bpw 2020
As social distancing will be in place (if this does go ahead) I do not mind camping, if this helps to abide by what ever guidance is in place at the time.

Re: Bpw 2020
Put my sailing on hold with Stenaline today, probably reasonable to assume that it won't be needed in July..
Can only hope to be able to rebook later on |

Re: Bpw 2020
I’d say that’s the sensible thing to do Chris. Even if lockdown was eased here in Wales I’d still be very nervous about a BPW this summer. Sadly......

Re: Bpw 2020
Don't know if this applies to anyone else who was coming, but I'm in the vulnerable category as I have been taking a dose of immunosuppressive meds for ages to combat the psoriatic arthritis I've had for 20 years. Not sure how well I'd fare if I got Covid19.

My dear old mum is vulnerable hence my lack of employment for a while. Your vulnerable status changes everything for me
