Retrofit naked pegs onto 2000 SV650S curvy
Hi,
I am trying to make my 2000 SV650S more ergonomic for me and find the leg angle a bit too aggressive. Would retrofitting the foot pegs from a naked reduce the angle of my knees but otherwise remain okay to ride, or would it throw out the riding position and cause a lot of back ache etc? Thanks, |

These
https://www.ebay.com/itm/REARSET-RIS...kAAOSwdGFYv1qs can be used to raise or LOWER the pegs. I have long legs and this worked for me.

I've fitted naked foot pegs to my 2001 SV650S and fitted rearset riser plates upside down (I had to modify mine slightly to do this) to lower them about another 10mm. As they are moved back about 12-15mm as well as down and the standard gear change linkage rod for the S was still OK (if you fit naked pegs without the plates you will need the shorter gear change linkage rod from the naked model (part No. 25525-19F00). The naked pegs on their own weren't quite low enough for me. I no longer get cramp in my legs and have had no issues with ground clearance, even though my Avon Storm tyres are scrubbed to within mm's of the edge. |

Or I have some of those riser plates which can be flipped to lower the footpegs, so long as you have a standard exhaust header pipe
