paypal.. the phone number i signed up with is out of date.. 15+ years ago. so i now cant use my account.

its getting that bad that you will have to give them a rectal scan soon by sticking your smartfon up yer arz... did i tell you i furkin hate smartfonzzzzz. you cant do furk all these days witout one....

You can use a landline for paypal auth

(unless they've switched to app based)

I'd generally agree with you but authentication via app is much more secure than text/phone.

I agree, I just have an ordinary mobile phone that I only use when really necessary, but it's like you feel obliged to buy a smartphone. I don't really understand apps anyway !

the problem is i cant use any other auth as it only comes up with my very old landline for them to phone me... ohhh well i wont be using paypal again.

not with the same address and debit card.. paypal are weird about that. just like the RBS dont like me spending my money and put a block on my card pretty much every time i sneeze.

all because they want my details but they can furk off and if they want it they will pay for it just like they get paid for selling it to other people. its my data not theirs.

how are we supposed to help our economy when we cant spend money.....

If you're able to log on you can just add another phone number in the account settings then delete the old one.
