feelin' old...
"Stairway to Heaven" is 50 years old this year. I was never a fan of Zeppelin, they were too "heavy" for me, I preferred the more melodious "Yes" who started the same year as LZ.

Maybe its my age but 1971 was a vintage year for music with so many iconic records made then.

I always think it's a shame that Zep are forever associated with 'Stairway.' It's not even the best song on Led Zep IV, to my ears.

Not much of an LZ fan either, agree with Craig - Immigrant Song or Rock and Roll are my favourites.
Got me thinking though, my favourite bands (Joy Division and The Smiths) aren't going to be far off 50 either.... Sheesh!!!
