Re: Curvy S riding position.
Yep that's mine. The Honeymoon is still going strong after 4 years plus
PS I don't think there's a bad looking SV650 from old to new

Re: Curvy S riding position.
I used custom Layback risers on my top yoke to get my bar up and back enough to clear the fairing and ease my back pain. I have a custom front end, but I had an engineer friend modify the top yoke to accept the risers without having to modify my fairing. I run a pointy, but I imagine the same result could be achieved with a curvy. I did the mods because I am a disabled rider too and have a whole thread here that explains my mods, of which there are loads.
Good luck finding the fix for you, the SV is a great bike for a disabled rider I find because it is narrow, lightweight and still great fun. |

Re: Curvy S riding position.
Well, quick update, went to bolt the bars down to the yamaha fazer risers and discovered a hairline crack in the riser! Really hacked off tbh, spent ages polishing them prior to fitting. So ... back to ebay for some custom billet risers, a bit more money but really well machined and slightly higher than the fazer jobbies so hopefully will be even more comfortable. Sometimes stuff happens for a reason, just hoping it was for the right one!
