Re: Car driving theory test
i have always found that putting a woman on my insurance provisional or full has dropped my premium, for some obscure reason. but as you say times have changed.

Re: Car driving theory test
Here says you can take driving lessons before taking/passing a theory test. I presume by "taking lessons" they really mean "drive on the road" providing you comply with all the other requirements (accompanied, insured etc).
https://youngcardriver.com/learning/ Other details for the requirements of the accompanying person https://www.gov.uk/driving-lessons-l...ily-or-friends Note the accompanying person must not use a mobile phone while the learner is driving, plus other oddments. General https://www.gov.uk/learn-to-drive-a-car For interest, I supervised a friend's children giving them as much driving experience time as we could manage, but before doing so they had lessons with an instructor and I sat in the back to understand his methods and practices in order that we maintained consistency. Both kids passed first time (with the instructor's car).

Re: Car driving theory test
not really looking for her to pass a test at moment as she can drive pretty well. its just more of a "take a break" kind of thing when we are up north etc.etc.
