Just a chat with insurance
My multibike policy is due in about 3 weeks but I hadn't heard anything from Bikesure so I emailed them (didn't respond) so I called them.
£295 for 2 bikes (they are now with Aviva). I told them (truthfully) that Bennetts had quoted £234.70. Just a minute, they said. OK we can do it for £231.28. They then emailed me to ask how they did. I'm conflicted, it's good price (imho) but why did I have to email/phone/give a counter quote to get there?

Definitely mark them down for that. The fact they had that much wriggle room tells you enough.
I'd suggest delaying the start date to the 1st of the month if you can. My renewal and quotes with others more than halved when I changed the start date to the 1st. |
