Project2025
Since my kids are American I follow what's going on over the pond. The Heritage Foundation are a right wing think tank composed of Trump supporters who have written a document called "Project2025". This is a series of changes they want to make if/when Trump wins the Presidency.
Here's a sample: Trump says he knows nothing of this document but he has already called for "Military style" televised tribunals to prosecute Pence (his old VP) and Mitch McConnell (former Republican leader of the Senate) because they wouldn't back his claim the last election was "stolen". Also, several of the individuals on the Republican National Committee (oversee Republican policy) are linked to Project2025. This includes Russell Vought (policy director for the RNC’s 2024 platform committee) who wrote one of the chapters in Project2025. In theory, the US system of governmental checks and balances would stop this but that was based on a neutral Supreme Court. The same court that has ruled that a US President cannot be prosecuted for anything if it's official policy. "No one is above the law" went out the window with that ruling.

Re: Project2025
The recent Supreme Court ruling was deeply, deeply worrying. The ultra-right of the GOP finally got a useful idiot with Trump to enact their policies.
They're terrified of the way that (demographically speaking) the country was turning into a permanent Democrat population, mainly because of high Latinx population growth, and after two terms of Obama they thought it was now or never. The worrying thing is, there are enough Americans to buy it (just as with the Reform party's surge here). Under his eye |

Re: Project2025
I was just reading about this. We have similar think tanks over here in the UK. You have to look at who funds these groups, such as Russian donations.
