Hovis 15 Years.
I've just realised that yesterday was the 15th Anniversary of Hovis's passing. He was such a big character on here I felt I couldn't let it pass without comment. Most people will remember him fondly for his razor sharp wit and wacky antics, but he wasn't everyone's cup of tea. I'm not trying to be maudlin but we should remember those taken too soon.
So remember the craziness! Like the time he rode from South Wales to North Wales for the Org rafting event with a pink bikini over his leathers. RIP Hovis |

Re: Hovis 15 Years.
Wow 15 years already. He was one of the 1st people on here to welcome me and give advice when I first joined the org. I loved catching up with his exploits on here. Missed by many. There's lovely

Re: Hovis 15 Years.
I think he had not long passed when I joined the org, and I realised very quickly what a larger than life character he was here. So sad when folks pass from life apparently before their time.

R.I.P. Breadman. Only met him a couple of times, but he left an impression

Re: Hovis 15 Years.
I met him a couple of times and he was a character alright. I was a shy young thing back then, still on 33BHP and scared to say boo to a goose, for which he teased me quite gently in person. Happy memories.
