My dad was told he was more likely to die WITH it than OF it, but his PSA is now in the hundreds, his last scan showed it rapidly spreading and he's wasting away fast. He's had over a decade to get his mind around it but it's not nice to see him now. He'll be 80 in four weeks, assuming he makes it.

My brother in law was not so "lucky" - diagnosed in April, wheelchair bound within six months, in a hospice and then dead two months after that at 65. Neither of them had their symptoms checked when they first felt rough so as Bibs says, GET CHECKED!
