It's Ukraine I feel sorry for, Trump will throw them under the bus. Normally the Republican Party would be in favour of supporting the fight but that was before the cult. Now would be a good time to read up on Project 2025 - the extreme right's agenda that Trump (allegedly - he has met with the authors) supports.
Still, Putin seems pleased.

I shudder to think of how he will exact what he feels is just revenge on the people that stopped him four years ago. He will undoubtedly want to go down in history as the man that "stopped" the Ukraine war, probably by forcing Zelenski to give up by withdrawing all support, thus allowing Putin to get away with his theft. And of course he'll then steal more land, probably from other neighbouring countries. Which will be easy if Trump follows through with his threat of leaving NATO. And of course he's not going to stop Xi if he piles into Taiwan as it's "not America's problem".

He's bound to claim to be able to fix the Middle East crisis too but I predict he'll fail on that one, as too many countries in the region already hate America and anything they say or do. And all accords and agreements that have been tried before now have all failed so anything he tries will too.
