I too thought I'd get out before the BH madness, although it was still busy around Shrewsbury

I've seen the Knockin radio telescope many times in the past but on this occasion I found the entrance. It look very sureal in the Shropshire landscape.

St Johns church in Maesbury. Clad in corragated steel sheets and painted white.

When I first moved up from the sarf uv Ingerland 40 years ago I lived for 11 months very closed to the radio telescope. It does look pretty incongruous in it's location there.

Mabel and I did an 11 mile hike with friends and their hounds up in the mountains north of the dam at Llyn Efyrnwy. A fairly challenging, but excellent walk.

On the top.

Just off the lake side there's a waterfall. Perfect for the dogs.

Back to the dam.
