i have now added the full run and the petrol stop near the top. so can people please go and check to make sure that everything is ok. ta.

and to answer Jen. yes you should be ok even with spirited riding as the fuel stop from moffat is 128 miles.

I'll most likely be joining the AR but I don't know how or when I'll be departing so I'm not putting my name down.

But since you're discussing routes... could anyone offer a suggestion as for the route?

I'm thinking I'll be taking either the A68 & A686, or the A7. Or of course the motorway if it's like last year

The A7 is a nice bit of road Dyz, especially the section between Edinburgh and Galashiels.

It's actually pretty nice all the way down to Longtown, then from there you could head towards Alston/Hartside.

I pulled out of this at the start of the year as we found out Mrs T is pregnant.

Due date is 12th August. Everything is looking fine so if she's feeling well on Saturday morning I might nip down to the AR . Subject to arranging digs for the Saturday night which I would also need to do at the last minute, but I'm sure I could find something nearby.
