It'd be better not to depend on petrol at the spittal tbh, last 2 times I've been there they were out... Plus Tony just about made that poor lassie cry last time Recurring theme for the weekend...

An SV will be fine unless you've got a problem or a leak, or you've made some serious mod's! If you've got a small tank (ie:supermoto, etc) or something with a short range (ie: Honda Firestorm, etc), don't risk it.

Hi,

Last year I put together a contact list of moby numbers and emergency contact moby numbers. I still have that list so for this year's attendees I have Haggis, Ralph & Northy's details if they are still the same.

I can pull this together for all the attendees so if you are ok with providing the data then PM me your details. I would not intend to share the details out with everybody but if a couple of peeps (Ralph and myself?) have the data we should be covered.

I'm away down south today but I will collate it all together on Thursday when I get back.

Data I would be looking for is:-

Org Name
Real Name
Mobile Number
Emergency Contact Name
Emergency Contact Number
& a secondary emergency contact name and number if you want.

GRRRRRRAAAARRRGGGHH!!!! Went to dig the bike out for my IAM training yesterday morning to discover the back tyre flat as a pancake, flat as in - 0psi.

That might be the nail in the coffin for me, I was just about Ok (funds wise, what with with that lovely little fine to pay,) but another £100 for a rear tyre the week before PayDay might kill me off I'm afraid. I'll need to see, but obviously I'll square up my room costs etc if I can't make it.

If you want a lend of a tyre I've got a worn 020 out the back, handy for such occasions If you can get the bike or the wheel up to Edinburgh tomorrow or wednesday I can whack it on for you. Or I could have a crack at patching it for you, but bear in mind I've never done it before, and you might die...

The run sounds brilliant. Unfortunately, as I have just come across this forum (had the SV for 5 years) as I am looking for a new front wheel, I canny go! Maybe some other time. I will be keeping an eye out. Hope you have a great week-end.
