Scratch this, I won't be walking properly until Xmas, never mind riding a motorbike. This happened playing football 7 weeks ago on Friday. Both bikes are on SORN for the rest of the year. See you another year.

Football. Foot rolled over top of a kids size 3 training ball, into ground sideways on other side, running momentum and weight followed, crunch, crack, hit the deck.

Basically rotated the foot out the bottom of the leg, took 2 nurses holding me down and 3 doctors pulling the foot, to free it from that position, and rotate it back into position between tibia and fibia, when the doctor got it back into place and let go, it fell back out again, the stretched skin was the only thing holding it on.

Yes, they did that while I was awake.

Talking Re: GMX - The Applecross Edition 8th to 10th Sept 2017

You'll no have heard -I decided to through myself at a cement truck !!! Less decided and more he was driving the opposite way on a singletrack road, hard over to his right and nowhere for me to go! Flew about 10' thru the air and down an embankment at the side of the road.

7 days in the local infirmary, been out for 6 days now. Signed off work for at least 2 weeks.

Front end of the America is fecked, I've bust my ribs, shoulder totally knackered, nerve damage to arm/hand. But surprisingly no busted wrists or ankles, etc !!!(always wear your gear). On loads of good drugs, so not suffering too much, but anybody that has bust ribs will tell you, trying to sleep is no fun, bit like the elephant man, can't wait to be able to lie down again.

It's all part of the fun, I guess.

Fecksake lads, sort it out!!

Glad you're ok, Lance. Sorry we'll not see you at the weekend. Hopefully we'll not see your hairy horned, big-arsed new 4-legged pal either though!
