You were fast as lightening mate. Cheers for the split pins too! Next time I'm in the garage the axle nut will get locked down!

Suggested ROCA:

tonyk, +1 for the nice little shimmy on the 272 to avoid the squashed animal and still managing to run it over with both tyres!

Rictus01, -1 running out of fuel, could me more but your fuel light let you down.
+2 for fixing Scoobs rad' with chewing gum!

The Idle Biker, +1 for the speedy about turn and catch up on the 272.

Fallout, +1 for having faith in me that it was safe to overtake that tractor.

Mark_h, +1 for deciding not to bug out and staying for lunch, risking a chewing from Mrs_h methinks.

Thunderace, +1 for being responsible TEC.
-1 for nearly parking it in Mark's armpit on the 32.

Can't think of much else, will have a think on it!

made an interesting interlude to the day even if my fuel light decided to work only after the tank was dry, but many thanks to quik_d for the ltr of fuel to get to the petrol station, saved an hours wait for recovery and allowed me to do a few more hours riding after leaving you all, Scoob's glad you made it back mate and the gum held, Adam, nice job on the paint and Laurie bike is gorgeous (but then having owned one myself I would say that), from 7am to 6.15 pm, two fryups and a burger, 6 cups of tea and a pint (as well as my flask), 245 miles and put in £47.18 of petrol, that's me for today, done.

Cheers Mark.
