I'm off Thursday and all of the following week. 500 miles from home to the campsite so will leave on Thursday and stop overnight at Quiff's on the way up.

Staying at the campsite Friday & Saturday, and then 3 nights booked in a B&B in Mallaig - will get over to Skye, and have a run to see Nessie Need to be back home on the Thursday night so will start to head south again on the Wednesday, and stop off somewhere on the way home.

I reckon I will do around 2000 miles over the course of the week - bike is in for a service on Saturday to get it all checked over (still under warranty otherwise I would do it myself) and has new rubber on it.

Have got 3 days at the MotoGP the weekend before GMIII, AR10 in August and 2 weeks in France in September.

Can't wait

Hi BigSteve, think the Spearies will have our own little bike convoy going down on Friday, need to get all of us together for that and soon, not long now, eh?! You know you and your brother are welcome.

PS Sally stop playing with your ball and get along to a run or suggest a different night, what do you think?

Cheers

Don't forget to bring some extra oil with you too, Matt.

We too will be covering around 2k and I'll be bringing a litre although that may not be sufficient .

Can always stop at Ducati Glasgow and get some more on the way back I guess.

So far, mine has been pretty good on oil - about 200ml over the last 4000 miles, however will pack a litre just in case.

Do you want me to bring a spare diesel can for you?

No doubt Claire's bike will use anything you have spare! She will be bringing a litre as well, but she may not know that yet!

She's washed, polished, oiled, adjusted and raring to go.

She'll get wrapped in cotton wool at the weekend, prior to me and Mrs w going off to Rome, and will get loaded up on either Friday 25th or Sat 26th depending what time we get back.

Then its up the A68 thro' the Borders.

P.S. am I allowed to bring my mate Jack Daniels
