Re: SV .org Sticker design
I have contacted a sign maker. I have asked them if they would be interested in the job. I can imagine two ways of this working:
1) I make an order of say 50 stickers in a particular size and one or two colours, which members could then order from me 2) I will give the sign maker my design, you lot can then contact them to order a copy in your choice of size / colour. You could probably also get your forum name added too if you fancy. When I hear back I will start a new thread to get some idea of what people want. |

Re: SV .org Sticker design
I would imagine that ordering a load would be cheaper! Maybe two different sizes and a couple of colours?

Re: SV .org Sticker design
This is how I imagine using my graphic (minus the big H wing) It is a single colour design (to keep the cost down) The red would be the colour of the bike / helmet or whatever you stick it to. I have sent it to a sign maker who is going to let me have a sample for my bike and some ideas about cost. I'm away for the bank holiday. Will be in touch soon after. |

Re: SV .org Sticker design
Still no reply from my supplier. I assume he's lost interest. Would have nice to let me know though.

SV .org Stickers available to order!
OK, I have got the first sticker on my swing arm as of today.
If you want to be an early adopter then the guy who cut mine has made the design available on his website. The 'standard' size fits nicely on the swing arm / rear fairing (where the standard suzuki sv sticker is on the naked bikes) and on the front screen. Bloke is pretty helpful if you want alternative sizes / special instructions like adding your forum name etc. Here's the link.... http://www.magnetic-marketing.co.uk/...&CategoryID=23 I think he is a bit expensive, £2.50 + £2 postage for one sticker, although he did do a bit of fiddling to get it right. I am working on a cheaper source. If anyone wants a copy of the artwork, pm me and I will email the file. Obviously the cheapest way to go is to order a batch. I don't want to get into this myself, but if someone else is prepared to do the work they can do it with my blessing. I may get a few made up for a future Anual Rideout if I can make it along. Good luck Simon PS - May be worth putting this post somewhere more visible to people who haven't been following this thread, Cheers Mods! Last edited by scWirral; 02-09-07 at 03:39 PM. |
