I'm still provisionally booked but think it only stays in your cart for two days.

ooch, hope your okay...
i wouldn't be able to make this one, but for future reference: it says you have to provide a unrestricted motorbike license, does this mean i can't do a track day for another year (till restrictions over) before i can do a track day???

(sorry for derail)

I believe that is the case at most tracks, but I think there are one or two that allow restricted licenses.

In answer to previous questions. I have done cadwell quite a few times. There are no garages what so ever, no power for warmers, 'paddock' is on a kind of tiered levels carry on. If you get there very early or camp you will get on the bottom tarmaced one. Toilets are good and food ok but pricey. If not you park off sides of link lanes on grass and put your bikes on edge of link lane. I beleive they have started charging for camping this year but not sure. As for the track I think it is ace. The undulations are what make it different. It is very narrow at the tree'd end (hall bends etc). But top fast end is wider. I think it is almost impossible to keep front down over mountain so you can gets some good pics of yourself, getting rear off aswell is alot harder. The run up to take off is a lot shorter than it looks on telly and you are still trying to get bike upright! I can just do it but Josh Brookes is some kind of magician/maniac! Be very wary if its damp under trees section as it is mega slippy. I do fancy this one but aren't booking more than one track day in advance again after highsiding at oulton few week back and already having booked this wednesday at oulton again and still cannot walk properly and am sticking bike back together again today! Will decide after wdenesday if still in one piece.
