Feel free to add me to the recce/TEC/marker/admin/organise/make tea/dogsbody list.

Read the posts on AR10 with interest and more than a little jealousy, if the votes are for a Yorkshire-ish one next year, count me in for helping. If its elsewhere, then count me in for attending at least.

Talking Re: A PM bid for AR11

I love this forum , wherever you choose I'm going to bust a gut to get there.
I was gutted that I was not able to make AR10, I'll be watching like a hawk & will book time off as soon as location/date has been set.

Already blagged a tent & getting giddy (I know it's ages away) and still working on the Mrs coming although she is allergic to camping we love to ride (still green) the deciding factor will probably be if I get the seat recovered before next year.

Good luck and if I can help I'd be happy to but think my lack of experience might be a hinderance rather than a help.

There are plenty of B&Bs around Austwick from luxury at cost with this.

To those a little cheaper like this.

Edit: Austwick is only a small village so it should be within walking distance from the campsite Dizzy has suggested.

Giggleswick is 4.5 miles away as is Settle.

Ingleton Youth Hostel is here

IF we are successful I will gather all these back up again, and post them up with our proposal package in a seperate thread. I may have to anyway, as important details are getting lost amongst very healthy discussions.
sorry, just updating this lot so I don't lose it

Also in the area is Clapham, 1.5 miles away, between the site and Ingleton with alternatives

http://www.newinn-clapham.co.uk/index.cfm

http://www.brookhouse-clapham.co.uk/

So there is plenty out there for those who wish a little more comfort than what the site has to offer, I'll point out agaiin, that the campsite does have B&B, as well as bunkhouse rooms to take upto forty guest between them(bunkhouses that is).

All will be clarified when we go and recce it tomorrow.
