Obvious question Banannaman, SV's are a bit big to take as hand luggage..... what are you planning to do for a bike?

Yeah, who lost the keys? Was it the same bike that then needed a bump start or was it a different bike?

Mate, I just sent you a PM as you know, but thought would mention in here.....

I think it is amazing that you are coming over for this. As I said in the PM, I will be seeing his mum again soon and she will be so so delighted to hear you are coming over. I know it is primarily for the AR, but to know you want to because of Hovis too is brilliant.

Although not the greatest admirer of bikes, his Mum has since been in awe at the generosity, freindship and kindness of the whole biking community that he was part of.

Looking forward to some brewski's with you!!!!

Hire a bike in the UK.
Likely will not be an SV though as the stock suspension is rubbish and I want to be able to keep up!

Even though I never met Hovis in person, from the few posts and PM's I got from him he always seemed to be a top bloke.
Certainly quite a few on here who did know him personally, thought the same.
Since we did share the BanannaMan connection, coming to this paticular rideout in his honour makes it all the better.

RIP Dave
