Cheers Mark.
So that's a no I'm afraid to say. It's quite a sedate 'riding' day as opposed to a trackday. There wasn't a single off and I think that's how they want to keep it. There was talk of putting an end to these once because someone hurt themselves pretty bad and the chief boss man wanted them to end.

It is a nice day though with lunch thrown in from the local curry house.

I think they should add a drag racing element down the runway.

So I'm guessing it's a no to any kind of hooning around as well then? Would be nice if we could run some kind of wheelie/stoppie or most "dodgy looking slide" competition in a corner somewhere.... You know, the sort of thing you're not supposed to do on the road and are not allowed to do on trackdays.

there were several track only bikes there last year, so i wouldn't see this being a problem. but as has been said people were really sensible and didn't go absolutely balls out the whole time, which is why there weren't any crashes and everyone had a good day!

i seem to remember they had something along these lines with the police over in one section last year, but i'm not sure.

I'll not be going too crazy cos I'll be on the 750 in road trim and I don't want to have to repair it

Sounds intriguing. Were the police keeping order or judging. We could set up an imitation of a road with some traffic signs, white lines, speed limits etc..... See who can get the most potential penalty points in one lap!

It'll be similar to that I would have thought
See the RAF leeming thread for an idea of what to expect; police presence (handing out flyers I think), lots of track prepped bikes with tyre warmers etc, not too many dicks, good day
Edit:

Although there were 12 crashes on ours, out of I'm guessing about 100 so roughly 10%. Sounds like RAF northolt might actually be a bit different to leeming.

What camera's that mate? I am still sorely tempted by one. How did you fit it on - you have lowers, right?
