Optiglanz: "The can says do not breath in the vapour and sadly I got a slight a whiff. I thought my nose was going to burn out! Just horrible."
Yep, smells of bitter almonds/cyanide
Perhaps not entirely coincidence?

Cheers
The camera that used to be strapped to the mirror was held there with electrical tape wrapped around a Gorilla pod. It was a small Samsung digital and we found it could film for about fifteen minutes before the battery failed. Quality was ok, but it was more hassle than it was ever worth.

These days my other half Carol uses a HD camera made by Sanyo and it works really well, has SD memory and can film for hours on the battery with is the same as a mobile one so can be swapped easily if it goes flat.

I have now refitted my hugger using new stainless fittings, rubber grommets and plenty of copper slip. At the same time I took some heavy grade emery to the corroded part of the exhaust where the heat shield used to be and it is now looking a little more shiny. This pleases me a greater deal that I think is healthy and I am becoming demented. One of my friends thinks I am deeply sad!

Top comment today though was

I can tell you how to make that bike really cool, fit a belly pan!
This is something I have been thinking about, but while I am poor and ill it is unlikely to to happen. However this does not stop me occasionally browsing Evil-Bay.

err adding plastic that adds no function to the bike and makes it a pain in the tits to work on does not equal looking cool... it looks like you've bolted some plastic shiiite on there...

I have just been for my first long ride on my bike since my little collision about a month ago now and can report that I am now even more in love with my bike. When the power kicks in at 6.5K the sound from the exhaust is like classical music to my ears. I was desperate to find a tunnel to listen to it in, but alas the Somerset levels do not have such things. Were it possible, I would breed with my Beowulf can it is so damn sexy!

On a slightly sadder note, if you are in Somerset and get the urge to check out Glastonbury Bike Night, don't bother. Not even the event organisers can be bothered to turn up.
The ride across the levels was fun though.
