Apart from my disgust at the hooligans and thieves. I would have to say where are the parents? However, I did notice in the news reports a number of middle age men who also appeared to be enjoying being within the melee.

I have to say that I will be genuinely surprised to find out that the Met have no water cannon. Even if it has never been deployed surely effective planning would dictate they should have an existing plan to deal with large scale rioting as part of their lessons from the 80s. The same with Merseyside police who also should learned lessons 30 years ago.

How inconvenient. We've been watching this morning

Rictus is going to have to put even more miles on his detour home from the AR, cause it'll take him 50 more just get around London by the look of it! He stayed here as he got a flat battery. Think the plan was to travel in the wee hrs last night....good job he didn't as he never had a clue til he got here.

Pretty damn disgusting actually, especially as its copycatting all over the country now

They don't care about covering their faces cause they'll just get a slap on the wrists. Because there's no consequences they have nothing to be afraid off. If they cut their benifits and start cracking some heads open maybe it'll be a bit more of a deterent than standing looking at them.
But then they'll all put claims in for brutallity I guess! This country gets on my tits, so glad I work my balls off to pay for scum to have a laugh by biting the hand that feeds it.
SEND THE PARAS IN, FIX BAYONETS!!!

its needs to be legislated by government (IIRC) and nobody's done it
COBRA - onc ethey stopped drinking tea - should get one fill it full of uv dye and eveyone who is caught is marked noticably, charged with crimes against country, stripped of citizenship ( if immigrant deported no questions you fought against the country so you obviously don't like it so GTF)
If those stripped wishe to remain after their temp visa runs out they apply, they get given homes that are looted and just habitable and told to get on with it with out any hand out.
The kids meantime get the same punishment as well as stock and birching.

THe EU human rights get told to STFU or they give us the money to help deal with it seeing as we have helped bail out umpteen other recently
(either that we just tell them where to shove it and we get kicked out anyway )

Conversation in the background here today, the consensus appears to be Gaddaffi should be offered political asylum here to sort it all out.

Syria seems to have an effective method to deal with rioting. We are too ferkin soft. These hooligans have abdicated their rights. Go in hard and painful. Broken knees will soon stop them

Only thing is, if we break all their bones we'll still have to pay for them to get sorted out
