Yea, hes having his leg pinned and knee investigated.

Overview of his injuries for the uninitiated:
Broken tip/fib
Dislocated knee (Which you can't apparently do, lots of tendons to brake)

I was going to drop by again tomorow, but i'll go tuesday after work now.

Cazza, Billy and I saw Mark again this evening, he thanks everyone for their visits, but, having had 19 people visit on Saturday - 11 at once at one point and the requested maximum is 2, the hospital are getting a bit fussed.
If you're going to visit him, please post up first and swap numbers or something, don't just all go at once again.

Also, as Ricardo says above, tommorow is likely to be a no visit day as he'll be getting sliced at some point, so isn't going to be compos for a good bit of the day. Mark has asked me to post again when he phones me, possibly Wednesday, to say whether or not visiting can be resumed. Please wait for that post before visiting again.

It was good to see Mark on Saturday, he is in good spirits about his recovery. if you're of the queesy type, then make sure your sitting down when he tells you what happened, especially about the dislocated knee... which as dan said, according to the doctors you can't do as you have 26 tendons holding it in place... very odd images of tendons snapping and twisting in my head at that point .

hoping that the op goes well today, i'll try and go see him again soon.

Mark had an operation yesterday, the details of which I don't have, but the results were pleasing it seems.
Mark will be reviewed tomorrow with a view to getting him home at the weekend if possible. So if you want to visit please do, but do read my last post here and don't swamp the hospital all at once.

"Results were pleasing"
Do you mean pleasing on the eye,or do you mean that when they put him back together they did'nt have a couple of bones and a cartialage left over?

I bet he's back on the bike by next week.
