Cold snot.

Why does it spend all night running on your face out of your nose, then change tact and you find it hard and chewable in the back of your throat in the morning?

Horses. Stupid creatures. Now this is not me, it's a broadcaster I work with, and I did laugh at his expense. But this has happened to me, and I know that shouting Whooaaahh does not apply the brakes which is why these days I prefer motorcycles.

Horses aren't stupid. This one probably knew there was a prat sat on it.
Do you shout woah at a bike? No, you pull on a lever. Same for a horse, you pull on the reigns.

People on the other hand are very stupid and shouldn't be allowed to sit in a saddle. Same goes for motorcycles.

Horses aren't stupid they just do stupid things that are perfectly ok for them.

My parents have a few of them together with the bruises yet still say motorcycling is dangerous!!!

People who dis the NHS! We just spent most of the day in A & E and then CAU with our 3 yr old after she had another seizure and 40C+ temp that was a bugger to get down. What a great bunch of people, they know how to work with children, even little ones that don't want to speak lol...alright so it was a little slow going and we repeated ourselves quite a bit with each new assessment but they were very thorough and professional and put us at ease. Proud to be British today!

I thought the rules were with motorbikes the brains are in the rider, with cavalry, they're in the horse?

I would certainly agree with you on that one. 20 years ago my son had open heart surgery at 10 days old to correct the arteries the wrong way around, he's a very fit & healthy young man now. Also 20 years ago my dad (now 79) had a bypass, last weekend started turning blue, within hours of going in he was fine again & had a pacemaker fitted. Just awaiting the CT scan results now to see if the bypass needs re-doing. He won't be running any marathons but these doctors have my absolute admiration for what they can do.
