Re: The running thread.
Yeah I adjusted it after the first ride. That was when I had just built it

Re: The running thread.
I actually got out for a quick run yesterday morning before work, only my 5k Glen Fabba loop. But I had just cycled 20.5 miles to get to work.
And all before 7.00 am. 33 mile cycle home, via some lovely country lanes. Feeling a little tired today - hence on the GXSR this morning.

Re: The running thread.
Fabulous run with five other canicross runners, of just under 12 miles this morning, from Ponderosa to Llandegla, a loop around the forest, and back to Ponderosa. All in perfect conditions with clear skies and sunshine, but back before it started getting too warm.
I'm now slumped in a chair and Mabel is crashed in her bed! |

Re: The running thread.
Managed to make it out for a couple of runs on Wednesday.
The first was an early morning 3.8 mile run locally with a friend from just up the lane, and then another 4.3 miles that evening with a couple of canicross friends. Thought my legs would be a bit stiff after that but they've been fine. |

I'm not entirely sure. I visited my mother with my brother and his family - there was some apple tree climbing and football somewhere along the line which could have caused it, but it just came on over night after that. I've never had anything quite so painful happen without some sort of clear cause (apart from getting old, that is). |

Re: The running thread.
I remember not so long ago, putting my back out when I bent down to do up the laces on my running shoes!

Re: The running thread.
Absolutely brilliant 7.8 mile run with a couple of canicross friends in the hills above Llandinam. Perfect weather with blue skies and sunshine but not too warm.
Great way to start a Sunday. |
