Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?
As I was taking my boots off after a ride this morning I noticed a bright, shiny e-clip on the floor. It wasn't there when I went out so I must have brought it in (stuck to my boot?). It looks too shiny to have come from the SV or exposed to the elements, my boots don't have e-clips. My mind keeps wandering back to it and where it came from - it's an annoying niggle.
(it's 11mm across and looks like it should fit an 8mm shaft approx)

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?
Went into local Timpsons today for price to replace one 175mm zip on side of my favourite Gaerne leather boots.
They quoted £57 for a heavy duty zip - that's for fitting one zip on one boot ! How can it be that much ? I am looking elsewhere . Last edited by svenrico; 28-10-21 at 05:45 PM. |

A E time to DIY! Loads of soles to suit on ebay or amazon. Remove old soles with the aid of a heat gun - should not cost more than £20
