Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?
Banter. Azeem Rafiq allegedly told Gary Ballance to 'fu*k off back to Zimbabwe ' - so it sounds like there was some banter going on between them . Ballance has said he regarded Azeem Rafiq as his best friend in cricket.
We don't know who else is stirring this thing up behind the scenes. There used to be a tale going around years ago that Fred Trueman at a dinner with the Indian cricket team said at the dining table ' pass the salt Gunga Din' - don't know if it was ever found to be true ! |

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?
Head butted a pigeon at about 60mph while out on a ride Sunday. I was ok but it hit my helmet with a hell of a thud ! Pheasants and pigeons flying up and crows swooping low across the road are a real menace. I blow the horn if I see birds far enough ahead and that usually makes them take avoiding action but if they fly up or across the road at short range you have no chance.

It is a U-rated forum and I respect that so true enough to say I was selective and representative, if not wholly accurate, in my choice of example.

Wondered how long it would be before they tried to destroy Joe Root as England captain by implicating him in the Yorkshire CC controversy !
