Some f*ck*ng scrote smashed my lad's car windscreen on our drive around 11pm last night, currently trying to get a replacement screen sorted quicker than the 5 days Autoglass is quoting.

Such a stupid senseless thing to do. Autoglass don't seem to have a great reputation when it comes to speedy repairs.

It took Autoglass a full month to replace Lady Poppy's Focus windscreen. Lost orders, lies, failed to turn up, rubbish communication... Good job I was between contracts at the time so my car could be used instead. Good luck!

On a much nicer note. Good to see you back Bill!!

I thought windscreen replacement was treated like an almost instant emergency repair but obviously not these days.

My ongoing dose of manbola is worsening to the point where my sinuses are trying to leave via my eyeballs, I now cry just turning my head.

Nope, we rang round a few places and the best we could find was replacement one day earlier than the Autoglass appointment, at double the cost ... there so many different windscreen variants now (multiple options for the same model of car, depending on whether they have forward cameras & radar for adaptive cruise etc) that in many cases, the screen has to be ordered in.
