Agreed. Pedrosa. Small in physical stature a Giant in mental stature.

Looking forward to WSB

I'd like to know who Dani Pedrosa's quack is.First name Jesus I reckon. From wheelchair bound cripple one minute to "pick up thy bike and ride".That's a bloody miracle. One day DP will be as good as Ago,but meanwhile there are other obstacles to greatness.

He certainly looked in a lot of pain in Parc Ferme. He was white as a sheet and was definately showing some emotion because of it.

I thought Rossi getting a chair for him on the podium was a class bit of p*ss taking.

I am not sure if it was mentioned on the coverage beamed over to the UK but Dani actually suffered a broken toe on his left foot as well as the nasty cut to his right knee.

He has said that yesterday was the most difficult day of his life and he was totally physically drained at the end. He only decided he would ride AFTER the 250 race had finished.

This kid is no wimp, he has come back from a double ankle fracture at Philip Island in his 125 days which so nearly finished his career.

Fizz I also thought Valentino at first was being a sport by taking the chair to the rostrum for Dani. But that was wrong, his gesture to the world with the chair was to say that he also was completely knackered after the long battle with Loris.

It was then in itself a massive display of respect to Loris and both hammed it up brilliantly when Loris decided to sit on Valentino's knee.

It was interesting to hear Rossi say that himself and Loris are "old style" racers prepared to go at each other hard but fairly. A little side swipe at Dani methinks as he felt Valentino was perhaps stepping over the line a little in their recent joust.

Watch out for video clips of the crash in the 125 race! So ugly! Pasini highsided on the exit of a left hander which left his bike in the middle of the track. A group of riders came out of the turn and one of them hit the fallen bike smack on. This caused his bike to flip over a bit like a stoppie gone wrong....hurling the rider upwards and forwards in a real ugly way. I believe he broke his femur among other injuries.

Yes yes,but what about the race? What a cracker. Two of the best riders sharing the same two yards of tarmac lap after lap swapping the lead several times a lap.Eat your heart out Formula one.
