Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?
Following on from Gary's post, I had a nice spin out to the Raven caff near Whitchurch yesterday. Weather was dry and 10 celsius, roads were intermittently damp from overnight fog. Despite being spotless before I set off, my SV was still the muckiest of the 5 or 6 bikes at the caff.
Why do SVs get dirtier than any other bike on the road? |

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?
I have come to the conclusion that most people are to unwilling to deal with, or afraid of the short(er) term disruption which has now become necessary in order to deal with the far greater long term chaos and breakdown facing us all.
If we'd dealt with it over the preceding decades, it would have been uncomfortable but do-able. Now, it's going to effing hurt. |

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?
I got out into the Dales today, which looks like being the last time for a while that we get double digit temperatures.
Bike is dirty but I'm dirtier! At the back, from the bottom of my jacket to the top of my helmet is covered in muck thanks to Yamaha's non-existent rear fender. |
