Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?
nVidia Shield TV Pro..
what a load of sh!te. right from the start it pizzed me off. you HAVE to sign into your email to get going.. it says it does all the audio codecs.. ermm no it dont.. it cant read external USB desktop drives.. that as the whole point in getting one. PLEX is now just a glorified portal and wont read external drives. KODI has turned to the dark side and is a load of sh!te and the Shield does not like you installing it. its a glorified device that gives you android apps that most modern TV's already have. well mine does and does a better job. now for the fun of returning it. |

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?
Don't they leave parcel in a 'safe' place or with a neighbour ? That's what they do around here. I have often accepted a parcel for neighbours and vice versa, or picked up parcel from 'safe 'place if nobody was in when parcel was delivered.

not from ebuyer... i'm glad i got the item via amazon now as it turned out to be a pos and from experience of ebuyer they are not keen on people returning stuff. btw i have had an account with ebuyer for well over 15 years.

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?
Went to the garage this morning to get something and found a DPD card half way down the drive. No boxes ticked, nothing in the comments field. Just in case, I had a look in the recycling box near the front door and sure enough there was a parcel sitting in there. Thanks DPD - at least one of us has been in the last three days and you didn't bother knocking or ringing the bell, and you couldn't even post your card through the letter box right beside as you dumped the parcel...

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?
On the subject of post, I have noticed that we only seem to get RM deliveries two or three times a week now. I normally get a copy of The Week through the door every Friday but recently it has not been delivered until Saturday or even Monday. No sign of a postie since Thursday this week...

I had forgotten they can't just leave parcel in a safe place if it has to be signed for .

our posties are superb.. no really they are. i have had stuff arrive at the depot spewing its contents and the posties wrap it up again then bring it. they are also very nice and polite. |

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?
yodel is the worst of the couriers in my area as the drivers are not local. i cant blame then for playing tap door run at this time of year as its bonkers busy, i know i have done it.
what Trev witnessed is mad. the driver must have had a bad day. |
