Well, the good news is that currently on Metcheck, it stretches as far as the Friday and is showing all sun. However, as we know, it not really until next weekend that we may get an idea of the weather.

However, Cheryl, as per your post, I am pretty sure that those who are no longer with us but that we will never forget, will all have a quiet little word with "Him indoors!!" to make sure it will be good.

To be honest, even if it rains, it won't dampen my spirits or the AR. In the rubbish weather its the people pulling together and all huddling under one big tent that makes it such a brilliant place.

* A motorbike might be handy. Running along behind isn't really an option.

* A handful of manners and a pinch of good sense will help a lot

* A little money for food, some more money for beer

* A change of clothes so you don't spend the whole weekend in stinky leathers.

*Any meds, legal ones I mean!
*Sanitaries
*Basic Bike Care (Chain lube etc)
*I'm making a credit card sized thing with all my medical conditions/meds on JIC
*Black sacks for any wet stuff

the only thing that will dampen you is a 5 litre barrel of cider attached to your arm all weekend if past years are anything to go by

I'm going to have to downgrade the booze this year - I didnt get round to putting a batch of Ginger Beer on so wont have the 40 pint pressure barrel strapped to the back of the Zed, and the really nice whisky is all but gone.

Oh well

Might have to put a poll op somewhere as to which bottle of whisky to bring this year...
