Re: The MTB thread
Ah cool, I also found out there's a downhill and uplift service at Hopton Wood in Shropshire. It also has signposted red/amber routes. Might be worth checking that out as well.

Re: The MTB thread
Guys, I'm going to look today for a bike, thinking of the boardman pro jobby hardtail at halfrauds.
As I know very little about mtb's, I presume being tall I'd have a large frame ? Anything else I should consider or other brands to look at, don't wanna spend more than a grand . |

Re: The MTB thread
I'm toying with buying either the Sport or the Comp. Sport is £499 (when i last looked) and the comp was £699
Frame is the same, just the components differ

Re: The MTB thread
I've been looking at Cube hardtails this week, they seem a decent spec for the money.
The 'analogue disc' is probably the one I'll go for but the 'acid' is tempting me. Does anyone ride at sherwood forest pines?

I got the £999 full sus, and it is a great ride. Size wise, I am 5'10 and went for a medium, as i am used to riding a smaller frame with a longer seat tube on my scott...
