In that case can't you get an alternative quotation? I am with a broker and find that when renewal is due, if the company I was with raises the premium too much the broker gets a cheaper quotation from another company. You don't seem to get favourable treatment for loyalty from some companies !

Tough for you Adam. Saw a few weeks that Bowman cycles had gone into liquidation - looked nice bikes but supply issues did them.
Hope something turns up for you, you are obviously mechanically competent, there must be an outlet somewhere for you.
How about setting up restoring classic bikes?
Just seen that Ellis Briggs have closed their doors.

Blimey, sorry to hear that Adam.

Started servicing my van only to find copious amounts of mouse sh7t and fluff in the airbox.

**It had a few residents a number of years ago but they were evicted and the damage repaired before my ownership.

GOTD is definitely dealerships telling you a vehicle has been serviced - it probably pays to assume it hasn't been!

Perhaps rather than wasting money on willy-waving, mind-bogglingly over-budget, environmentally destructive projects like HS2, the money would be better invested in providing for some redundancy in the existing rail network.
Damage to the overhead cables just outside New Street in Birmingham has meant cancellation of almost all services between there and Shrewsbury and the few remaining trains backed up with nowhere to go or running at least half an hour late.
Grrrr.....
