Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?
Finally got my car back after 5 weeks in the bodyshop. Drove it the 50 miles home from Edinburgh no problem. 1 street from my house and it starts misfiring. Needs a new fuel injector and of course there are none in stock locally. There is one in stock in Edinburgh though...
Went to turn my bike around in the back garden, ready for tomorrow morning since the car was still out of action and managed to drop it into a conifer tree, landing right on the Rizoma mirror, bending the mount and scratching the screen. Feels like one of those days I should have stayed in bed. |

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?
My friends from London are up visiting me this weekend. Had a good ride to Buxton yesterday. Planned a ride into Wales today, but my rear tyre has gone flat overnight. I can't see any obvious cause.

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?
Its one of those days then from the preceding posts....
Going on holiday tomorrow and need the car charged to 100% but my fast charger has just packed up! Basically unit is completely dead Luckily I spotted the red light on the unit last night so have time to use the 3-pin plug emergency "granny charger" to get it up to 100%. It only needs another 10 hours of charging |

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?
Should have been walking the length of the Rhinogydd this weekend, from above Harlech down to Y Llethr and Diffwys, and on down into Abermaw/Barmouth. We were going to wildcamp at 2400 ft on Crib y Rhiw on Saturday night. We've called it off though as the mountain forecast is for rain most of Saturday, and winds up to 5omph.
I've done this hike a few times, but the last time we ended up doing the whole 26 - 28 miles of the route in one go as the weather on the Crib y Rhiw was so bad we weren't able to camp overnight. We decided that we didn't want to repeat that so the walk is postponed sadly. |
