I bought one straight after my old ZXR was nicked, so I had no NCB whatsoever. Cheap as chips to buy *and* insure.

Re: The TV Mini Mega thread.
Agree with Oggy.
Don't bother with the 600 or the newer 650. Only way to get any serious enjoyment out of them is to hammer the hell out them. They are great commuter tools but not much else. Even the 1200 aint that brilliant. But is a good hooligan tool. |

Re: The TV Mini Mega thread.
The 1200 drinks petrol like a glaswegian drinks bucky and the frame has a hinge right in the middle so the front end never quite agrees with what the rear end is doing. It can be like trying to ride a pantomime horse.
But that engine. It should be available on the NHS.

Re: The TV Mini Mega thread.
+1 for the 1200 rather than the 600.
You have to rev the crap out of the 600 to get anywhere fast.

Re: The TV Mini Mega thread.
I had a 600 and loved it. Not exactly a hooligan tool but could be fun and cheap to run/insure as well. A good hooligan can wheelie any bike (unlike me).

I've had three Bandit 600's over a period of time. They were all bought for the cost of buying it, the cost of running it, the cost if insuring it and as a commuter bike. Fun didn't enter the equation. |

Re: The TV Mini Mega thread.
All good advice there Mr Ape.
I would also like to take this opportunity to officialy apologise for hijacking and probably de-railing every thread in the TV section. I'm just very stressed and bored and it relieves said stress and boredom. I also am defecting from the GM massive. They are too quiet, you lot seem much more my type (as in more silly banter and much more rowdy). |
